Tod's Gommino Flats: Classic and Modern

It's a not a secret SG is a huge fan of flats and Tod's. Savvy Mom gifted me with my first pair back in the days when Tod's was J P Tod's. These two classic gommino moccasins are my favorite styles. The first is classic Tod's and the second version is more updated and younger with clean simple lines. They are casual chic which is great for a busy gal with places to visit and projects to accomplish. SG wears Tod's moccasins without socks and usually with jeans.
View of Gommino on the bottom. Tod's is the first company to offer rubber beads instead of traditional solid rubber sole.
I think investing in classic Tod's gommino moccasins are quite savvy worthy since these styles don't change much year to year. To prove my point, above Tod's is my first pair from more than 10 years ago. They are beat up now but still so comfortable and solid. SG recommends classic classic beige, or black if you can only buy one pair. Price point at about $350 is fairly reasonable comparing to other designer brands with comparable quality. Which version is more your style?

  3. Ooh...love these all. They'd look so classic with a pair of dark, slim, straight leg jeans and the new wool boyfriend blazer I just picked up, and my latest Goodwell treasure, a vintage 1970's Coach saddlebag that I paid only $30 for!

Sadly, I can't decide which I like best, so I'll just have to take them all. If I give you my address can you please pop them in the mail? :)

Thanks for inspiring us to mix high and low in creating our own unique style, SG!
