Color & Print

Temperature is finally cool enough for me to think about tights and leggings. This season, layering color/printed leggings and tights are sure to spice up a gal's outfits. Personally SG won't spend too much money on leggings and tights because they can run and are so disposable.SG adores these Chanel tights, especially black and beige 2 tone.
I would layer these bold colorful leggings with mini skirts and long sweaters. (All by Frenchi $10, a gal can buy every color and not hurt her savvy wallet at all.)

I adore the idea of printed tights because it sure can add much interest and detail to a gal's outfit. But, if not careful, printed tights can make a gal's legs appear horizontally challenged.

from left to right:
-Hues houndstooth $28
-Nordstrom $18
-Nordstrom $24
-Nordstrom $18

So savvy gals, what is your pick color or print? (SG picks color over print)

I absolutely love the look of tights (even if they're not always that comfortable, and don't tend to keep me but so warm), but you are right it's probably good not to spend too much on them because they do get ruined and torn easily. :(

I definitely have to go with print.

Although, there was a girl at church today, wearing ankle boots and grey leopard print tights. It was too much.

I definitely want to play around with tights this winter - as long as they're budget friendly.

I heard that those two-tone Chanel tights are sold out everywhere.

i wouldn't be surprise. i purchased a couple pairs of Chanel tights a few years ago but have not the chance to wear them yet so i guess i will this winter.

i want those chanel tights so badly! =) i don't like any of the above tights -- im' more of a no pattern one. i prefer tights that are just solid colored and bold! like a bold pink or red one. <3

Printed tights make anyone bigger than a size 0 look fat.

I love the Chanel tights too, but that's really hefty on the pocketbook. I found this pair of tights at Urban Outfitters that are similiar; type in "Either Or Tights" in the search bar on UrbanOutfitters.com

I love tights and am glad there are finally some interesting ones to buy! However, did you see that recent photo of Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a two-tone Chanel pair? Even on her they did not look good so what chance do I have?

HELLO! Have you heard of www.welovecolors.com? They have the most colors anywhere, their prices are sooo reasonable and tights are super comfy!

Oh I think you've already seen, I'm all for colour tights... I love all in most of the colours.
And I bought lace tights, but I didn't yet try them.
