Jimmy Choo Saba Bag

The other day, SG walked by Jimmy Choo and was drawn to this cream tote displayed at the window. Normally, I am not a fan of light cream bags but the accents on this tote just shout unique and stylish to me. Being a bag lover, I couldn’t leave the mall without giving Saba tote a once over. The leather is very supple and soft with just enough slouch making Saba oh so casual but stylish, especially with the black and cream contrast. The black and gold ring accents on the handle are just perfect for this simple silhouette, adding a bit of glam. SA tells me bangles will become available later on this year.
I like the large size (18” x 14” x 7”) more than medium (13” x 13” x 6”) for the beautiful drape and slouchy effect. Somehow the medium just does not have the same look; it’s more structured and seems taller. I would pair it with casual outfits, and sweater dresses with boots.

The nice sales insisted I tried on the exotic in mink fur but I did not care for fur bags. Also, adding exotic fur would take away the casualness of this tote, which is the whole purpose for me to buy a Saba tote. As much as SG likes the tote now, I will wait for sale. Somehow I have a sneaky suspicion Saba in cream might go on sale.
Large is priced at $3050 and medium around $2500. Exotic shown in large is about $7000. So savvy gals, are slouchy bags for you?

  1. If I could afford one, I'd go for the third. That's super.

  7. It may bee too pricey... go for a Chanel or a Louis Vuitton! heehee.. but the slouchy bag sure is CUTE! Not for me though.. I tend to misplace stuff inside my own bag.. so structured ones work best for me.

  8. It's quite a lot for a bag, I would get a Chanel 2.55, I'm not sure if that works out about the same in dollars. I do love big slouchy bags though
