SG is in adoration with few Chanel pieces at the trunk show yesterday. First of all I tried on this cutest black 3/4 sleeve boucle jacket with matching boucle pencil skirt and almost put my name down for size 36 until I saw the price of $5200, maybe it might go on sale? The jacket is in the classic Chanel style which is nothing to write home about, but the large heart embroidery at the end of the sleeves and at the back of the jacket has my heart flutter with love. It is exactly in the shape of the heart shoulder bag shown below except in black.
Also there is a white clutch with heart motif which SG feels is really cute until I come face to face with the price tag of $2900. Ouch.
Another trend is silver metallic. Although metallic is still strong next season, it is silver rather than gold that will become the fashion darling. I tried on the outfit on left. It is very cute but the top is rather scratchy on the skin and the skort is too short for SG.
I heart the dress on left, and will buy it in a heart beat if the price is reasonable.
Instead of the well known double CC twist-lock closure, a more minimal design is shown for resort collection. I like the simple design, it is more understated. There is a very savvy silver metallic classic flap bag with the simple closure for an un-savvy price of $2800+, which is killing me because I really want that bag. So are silver tone and heart motif savvy for you?
