You´re really original!I got married last year and I must confess I was so plenty of things that I let the chef to choose it. When I got married for the first time I thought that if I´d marry again, I´d be in charge or everything... so I got divorce and I had a new wedding later but: work, children, guest, ceremony... just impossible to include everythig... and the cake!.kss;-)
I want roses on my cake.
I'd be quite happy with those. They have all the romantic qualities for a wedding cake!
Cupcakes are a pretty cool idea...Hmmm...I don't know my dream wedding cake....
Honestly anything rich and fluffy would do me good although the idea of cupcakes is a magnificent idea and oh so practical!!! Imagine the immense food fight that could occur between hubby and you!!! lol. Too easy i say but beautiful and different all the same. Lovely :)
I don't have a dream wedding cake... never really thought about it, however those cupcakes look sooo yummy! :)xoxo,S-C
cupcakes with edible flowers would be devine...in very baby blue & dreamy brown...frosting. Always love that combo... Let's choose the man now...! hee!!
the man will be the last ingredient uh.... : ) but very important.
wow, i'm getting hungry ;)it looks fantastic!
ahhhhthat´s so 'sweet'! hehhea kiss!!!
ooooh, now i really want a cupcake. love sprinkles.
I had my dream wedding cake. It was four levels of heavenly flavors! Each tier had a layer of amaretto cheesecake and moist white cake divided by Bavarian cream. The frosting was a very light butter cream frosting spread so smoothly that it looked like fondant. Each layer was accented with black and chocolate brown silk ribbons, as well as gorgeous Sterling roses.I still dream about that cake…and next month will be my 10th wedding anniversary. It was the only wedding cake that I have ever seen where every piece was gone before the reception was over. People were going back for seconds and thirds!Maybe we will try for a repeat for out 10th Anniversary celebration?
this idea appeals to me now, but i'm scared it would look tacky in wedding photos down the road just since cupcakes are so 'in' right now. nonetheless, this looks super chic and yummy!
ooh those look absolutely DELICIOUS!!! lol i would probably go the old fashioned way and have a huuuge creamy tiered cake just so i can eat it all ;D xoxo, lulu ♥
I think this might be it! I might change the white frosting for chocolate, though. :D
I'm so inlove of cupcakesThat's an original idea, they look really gorgeus
We had a cupcake "cake"! It was really awesome! Each tier of little cupcakes was frosted in different shades of pink, from pale all the way up to medium-dark, to match the pink hues of my sari. Though it's an old idea here in America, cupcake cakes for weddings are not familiar in Sri Lanka, so everyone loved it, and for photo purposes there was a little-bitty real cake on top for us to cut. I'll be posting a photo of that in my wedding blog soon. One of the best things about cupcake cakes is how easy they are to serve because you don't have to cut them. :o)For our reception here in California, I'm thinking of just serving real cake (double-chocolate).
That is so freaking cute. But it takes away from the ritual of cutting the cake together.
