Marche Moderne

Located on the 3rd floor of South Coast Plaza right next to Nordstrom, this little French restaurant is perhaps one of my favorite eating holes in Orange County. Part of having a savvy life is living well smartly. SG usually takes an advantage of lunch a la carte, which is a 3 course meal that varies daily for $20 on the weekday and $25 on the weekend. The portion is just perfect even for a guy. A picture is worth a thousand words, so with no further ado, this is lunch from last week with BF.
First and last courses are set and patrons can pick one of two choices for main course. SG forgot to take a picture first before digging into her dessert, thus the missing side.So what is your favorite restaurant?

  4. Mmmm yum! My favourite restaurant is a tiny little Japanese place here in Perth... It's incredible, I have never had a bad meal there! And the plum wine is to die for!

My fav? La Tour D'Argent in Paris. Not that I'm super rich.. we just accidentally booked a table without knowing what kind of fancy place it was and we were blown away. after 400euros we were very happy. :P

  6. This looks delicious! I love tasting menus. Here, in St. Louis, I am a fan of Niche, headed by our very own Food & Wine Chef of the year winner.
