I can’t help but giggle seeing these on display at Fendi. These boots look like two Old English Sheep puppies.

Need I say more?

Apparently these are wedge boots to compliment Fendi’s active line as seen on the mannequin. My SA urges me to try on a pair in white telling me they are selling like hot cakes at a very “reasonable” price of $1090. Strangely, this gal is drawn to them in a very bizarre impractical way. Savvy niece will just adore this pair of fluffy boots, but she is 5 and likes all thing gaudy. I can’t figure out how a gal is supposed to keep these boots clean as fine Mongolian lamb wool fibers bounce about in the air and mop the floor as I move about.

However, I must confess these boots are very comfortably despite the heels and fit my calves like gloves. I can imagine Paris Hilton in them as she lounges in the ski lodge! So are these savvy or not so much?
They're a little extreme, but pretty cool...
ReplyDeleteI'd wear them with a jean mini and vintage black rocker tee.
I wouldn't wear them because I am a little shy and I think to me they are too much, but they look nice and very comfy. The problem I see is white... because they must be very difficul to clean!!!
ReplyDeleteI think they are ideal, only in the ski lodge though!!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I had no idea there were heels hidden in all of that wool. They do look chic in a very weird way, though.

They make anyone who wears them look like a Clydesdale horse. Clydesdales are beautiful. But, that is a whole lot of boot. I say these are more on the not so much side.
ReplyDeleteHm, I'd have to go with not savvy in this case, not much for appearing to have animal feet, however they do look kind of comfy! :)
ReplyDeleteNot so much. They are a lil obnoxious for my taste...very Vitoria Beckham meets ski bunny.

Omigosh I am totally linking this in an upcoming post on furry fashions - very well observed and loooove the comparison!
ReplyDeleteThese are only savvy for apres-ski in Aspen . . .

ReplyDeletehmm yeah i am not really a fan of these. hahaha.
ReplyDeletewanna trade links?
not so much, but could TOTALLY see paris rockin' them!
ReplyDeletethose are hilarious but I kinda like them as they look like they'd keep my feet very warm in the rain and snow that we get here.
ReplyDeletewouldn't they end of cleaning the street!
ReplyDeletefab tho. micro mini will work better I say.
there's a website that sells a way cheaper version of these, in multi-colours too, and they're machine washable, and will go back to being fluffy as you brush them, so i don't think the white is really a problem
ReplyDeleteomg i love them and i've been looking for them for what seems forever..where can i find em?
ReplyDeletei saw these at the fendi boutique. you can try calling them to see if there are any left.

Hi. I bought the boots on December of 2009. They worth every penny! I totally adore them! Everybody spins their head on the streets when they see me. I have the black ones, and they are easy to clean. Just let the mud dry and it goes off easily. And no...you don't wear these boots on the sky slopes. They are city boots, for no snow. They are suitable when it's cold, but dry. And if I'd find another pair, I'd buy it for the next years...
