So this is what happens when St. John meets Moetley Cruee. Former CEO/model/creative director of St. John Knit, Kelly Gray after leaving St. John to pursue other opportunities collaborated with Nikki Sixx of Moetley Cruee in late 2006 to launch Royal Underground, a men clothing line where rock-n-roll meets luxury chic for men between the age of 20 to 40. I have seen men's line but have yet to see women's line, but I know these pieces for gals are available somewhere. I don't think I will want everything from Royal Underground but one piece here or there will be savvy. From what I have seen in the men's line, it is safe to say for us gals, the line will also be modern, edgy and luxurious. I must have conservative men friends because they will not wear Royal Underground, according to my survey. So is it savvy or not so much?

This is a great ad!!
ReplyDeleteI like the concept, but if it's abused it can go south fast.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like it too much. It looks like it would be better off, on the cover of a cd.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful comment! I hope everything works out in your favor with the jacket. ^_^
I am not a big fan. I don't like the scenario...
ReplyDeleteit's a cool idea but i am trying to decide if it is savvy still. i just can't see myself wearing these pieces. maybe i am not the rock-n-roll type, uh. : )
ReplyDeleteI don't really like the look.
ReplyDeleteIt looks alright. I hope it's not just another in a long line of rock stars doing clothing collaborations.
ReplyDeleteI think Kelly Gray needs to hang up her modeling shoes.
