SG'Style: Navy Chanel Sweater Dress
Ah... Chanel, one of my favorite best friends even if these friends cost me an arm and a leg most of the time without fail. Nowadays I try to collect pieces which I think will have many years of utility. That is my story and my justification for the price. This navy sweater dress is the reason for my grey shoes obsession. I finally wore it last months with beige color Tod's heels but for winter, I want to wear it with grey or black shoes.
Since the model is about 6 feet tall, the dress is a mini rather than above the knee length on me. Also without a camisole inside, I will show my goods, which I definitely have a problem with that. On the runway, the model wore the dress with the 2 extensions tie on the back, but there are other ways to play around with the 2 ties. My favorite look is the first one because Chanel logo patch is not visible.
The Chanel patch is a great place to hang a gal's sunglasses. So what is your favorite look and are you a sweater dress gal?

ReplyDeleteI love sweater dresses, they're cozy and warm-ish but still cute as ever! I wish I could afford Chanel...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll get lot of wear of that dress....so cute..
ReplyDeleteThat is easily one of the cutest dresses I've ever seen. We're all very jealous of you. Haha :)
ReplyDeleteI love it, the "for years to come" statement got me choked up. No one buys clothes for years to come anymore.

ReplyDeletethis dress is beautiful and an easy piece to adapt to different trends. love it!x
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer the length on you. Sweater dresses are definetly a love of mine in the colder months. Very nice buy!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed I am a sweater dress gal. An expensive Chanel sweater dress gal? I don't know. I'd have to wear it everyday.
ReplyDeleteI love this on you! I haven't had a sweater dress in ages. I think they're genius, though.
ReplyDeletei agree with steel closet, no one buys clothes to wear for years anymore. if i am going to spend about 1k for a dress on sale, then it better last awhile, at least i am telling myself that.... : ) i usually do okay by chanel, with exception of a couple pieces.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is a good investment-if I see the right one, I will get one for Autumn!!
ReplyDeleteSo great! You can't beat a classic like this.
