Hot Summer Hair: Shorter and Bang

For months, I have struggled with myself with the question: to cut or not to cut. Cutting one’s hair or getting a bad cut is not the end of the world, I can always just grow it back but I still can’t part with my long hair. I have noticed more gals with short hair cuts recently. Now seeing some of my favorite Hollywood celebs with the summer’s hottest new hair, short and cool, I am getting ready to call my stylist for a new change. My hair is like Eva's at this point. So what is savvy to you, long or short?

  1. I think you should just cut it and just grow it back if not happy.

  3. Thanks!

I love long, natural hair and I want mine to grove faster! But I also think that short hair a la Agyness Deyn is awesome, and I used to have short hair myself.

  4. I prefer long hair for myself, the only time I dare to cut was when I was 9... since then, I've it long. I prefer Katie with her first hair-do

  5. Shorter hair is lower maintenance and much easier, however longer hair is more versatile.

I stick with longer hair simply because I don't suit it much shorter, haha!

But I think you should risk it :D It will always grow back!

  6. I'm all for cutting. Ten inches last summer, now I'm in the process of growing it back, but it's nice to have gone really short.

  7. I can always appreciate a full head of long, gorgeous, healthy hair but for most women, I think a short, precise cut usually is the best way to frame the face. While not as versatile as long hair, it's definitely lower maintenance. They both have pros and cons, it's just a matter of finding out which suits you more.

  8. It always grows back. I change my hair ALL the time - just last year it was Agy short now I'm growing it out again, colour, cut, whatever just have fun, changing your hair is a great way to shake things up sometimes :)

  9. hi savvy mode. thank you sweetie for your comment in H&M post. We all get that sometimes. sorry to hear that. it's not just size tho. A lot of times, fitting is not right even if they were to have sizes.. for example.. I don't get to buy much at ZARA when I ever get to visit in other countries as the fitting is never quite right.. pity.

As for the hair.. long long for me. until I get utterly sick of washing it. Actually i was reading an article suggesting having a bang to make you look younger. Interesting point that.

  11. I love the short cuts but the fall and winter are coming and that seemed to be a summer thing.
Think it over a little longer.

  12. I'm a short hair lover!
I've myself my hair short...despite I have had it long sometime ago, but now I think it makes me younger and sleeker, so what can I say besides... short it, it will grow back.

  14. I'm partial to long hair myself. Can't bring myself to cut it short. But I'm for whatever feels good to you.

  15. Long hair is definitely more versatile but short hair is modern and clean. Decision, decision....

  16. I love long, I can't do it. But some of those celebs look cute with the shorter look.

  19. I have super-slow growing hair, I chopped it off into a pixie cut about 3 years ago and now it just touches my shoulders! If your hair grows fast (or you can afford extensions when the style changes) then go short. If not, I'd stay long - you can do so much more with long hair.

  20. sometimes I have a similar feeling but then again I cannot part with my long hair and intend to keep it so those feelings run away into hiding...

  24. Try adopt such hair style that is suite your face and that not causes traction alopecia. Traction Alopecia is a type of hair loss . This occurs when the hair is pulled tightly back and fastened at the base of the skull, or braided into tight braids or rows. Exposure to this type of hairstyle over long periods can result in a scarring alopecia, with no potential for regrowth.
