This Fendi clutch has to be one of the most not so savvy handbags I have seen so far this season. First, it's really heavy in my hand. Second, it's only 1 cm thick even the Fendi SA tells me the clutch is more of a conversational piece rather than a functional clutch. A gal can put a key, a couple of credit cards and nothing else. I can't even slip a tube of lipstick in there because the tube is greater than 1 cm. My SA did not have the retail price but I would put it at around $3000 or more. Does anyone know, else I will update later. It's unique but not savvy! What do you think?

your savvy-ness reminds me of jack sparrow from pirates! haha. this clutch is cool, but it must be quite a pain to carry :x i'm all for practicality! (most of the time, haha)
ReplyDeletewow!!what a stunning style!
ReplyDeleteI don't like it much because it's just so pointless - it's really just like jewellery as it isn't functional. Unlike jewellery though, you can't actually wear it but have to carry it around. Hassle!
ReplyDeleteI guess it is a quirky piece that can be used only once(?) for a statement, but it won't be that practical... It does require someone with bodyguard to handle it... heheee! I'm with you xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteYeah I need a purse to carry stuff...especially lipstick - this is not very functional!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can use it as a wallet and stick inside of your purse!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing that purse in the fendi fall preview window and although it's fun to look at, it just seemed awkward and almost nerdy instead of chic. I can't imagine anyone owning it for that price point/with it being so heavy. Some things are better left on the runway and out of production.
ReplyDeleteI agree, no savviness in carrying a 3000 dollar CD case! Maybe if I were a spy and had several very neatly folded incriminating pieces of paper inside, it would make some sense.
ReplyDeleteIt is very cool-looking, but more like a piece of art than a functional clutch, it seems . . . and definitely reminds me of a trivet more than a handbag!

You're so right, when sad or tired, large sunglasses will do the trick!
ReplyDeletei think it's too stylish for its own good. while a purse is clearly a part of an outfit, it's supposed to serve a purpose, whereas this is just silly.
ReplyDeletehehe thanks so much for commenting my blog, yours is wonderful!!! i hope you don't mind if i link you :))) hmmm i agree that it's not really that sensible but it is quite unique ;) xoxo, lulu
ReplyDeletebeautiful, classy and cool, but not practical....only good to keep money, but, you know, with money you can buy everything, so the essencial is money with those handbags :) Do you agree?
ReplyDeletei do agree with all the lovely savvy gals. this bag is definitely savvy in its unique style but not not practical. however, kira has a point about the money issue. : ) have a very savvy day!
ReplyDeleteNot a savvy bag. What are we supposed to do with it again??????
ReplyDelete1cm?!?! it's fabulous, but foolish!!!

I'm kinda over bags that are not functional. Especially if it's heavy but you can't fit anything in it.
ReplyDeleteProbably not savvy, you're right.
ReplyDeleteI sort of like it, especially for it's unique character. I definitly agree that it's functionaly is slim to none and the comment about using it as a wallet was a good one.
ReplyDeleteOOh, I have bracelet almost exactly like the one in the picture. I got it in sale at Jcrew.
