I accidentally ran into this tier wrinkled skirt by Club Monaco, which laid dormant in the closet for years and became one of the closet orphans. I have heard gal pals talked about wearing a skirt as a dress but scoffed at the idea. However, I maybe be changing my mind. I don't know if I will wear these looks often but being savvy is about becoming creative with my wardrobe and working with what I have without running to the mall, sometimes.look 1 -
Just the skirt by itself, I have informed a pregnant gal pal this could be a good look for her so there is no need for her to buy additional maternity wears. (smile)
look 2 -
Using a wide belt to create a waist. I am using half of a Gucci (black wide band leather with loop) belt and a burgundy/black twisted Moschino belt to tie the dress and the belt together, since the dress is a red burgundy color.
look 3 -
Using a pretty pin, which create interest in the back, to gather excess fabric to the back creating a more fitted dress. I accent the dress with a long necklace, multi-strands would look very savvy as well.
I was thinking to try this and you've inspired me to go for it-or at least try it and see! great post, savvy!!
