Enzo Angiolini Wedge has a twin in Prada: Bambo Wedge

I will from time to time buy a pair of Enzo Angeiolini casual shoes as they provide some interesting designs with easy to wear comfort at fairly reasonable prices. While just casually flipping through a Nordstrom catalogue, I was instantly attracted to this particular pair of wedge with patent leather, wood and cork combination. This is a definite buy for me at $109.95. Not to mention I will gain 4 inches in height which is a bonus. This being said, while I was at Neiman the other day, I literally ran into a pair of Prada wedge that had the same bamboo and cork details. The difference is Prada used suede leather while Enzo uses patent leathers, with minor design deviance. BUT, it’s the wood and cork combination that I find to be most interesting which both brand in my opinion look the same. At $690 for Prada, I will have to think twice, even if Prada is one of my favorite shoe brands. At around $110, Enzo wedges are just calling out to me to bring them home. Colors are available in yellow, red, white, blue and black. What would be your preference, Prada or Enzo?

Update: Prada Bamboo Wedge is on sale at Barneys for $455 now.
